Please click on the Dark Blue text to be taken to that site As
a Morris owner or enthusiast of vehicles to the late 40's, I recommend
joining the Morris Register.
This is a club specializing in the Morris mark. It is very comprehensive
being able to offer advice and spares. A monthly newsletter and quarterly
magazine are provided as well as local and national events. Although based
in the UK it has many overseas members. A site set up for all people with an interest in the Morris marque is the IAMO website. This stands for International Alliance of Morris Owners. The IAMOis not a club but an alliance of individuals who have an interest in all things Morris from 1913 to 1983. The vast majority will have an interest in the cars but the site intends to be a contact for all. It is being added to daily and is well worth looking at. The Australian equivalent of the Morris Register although alot smaller is the Morris Register of Victoria. This site is for residents of Australia but alot of useful information can be obtained for enthusiasts. The site reflects content of the Morris Register newsletter but on a minor scale as well as providing new content. For owners of the ubiguous Morris 8 a site dedicated to the Tourer version is Alec Fryers Morris 8 site. A very useful site with lots of help on problems he came across in his restoration. Although Alec has now sold his tourer the site is still very interesting and useful. Dave Parish at The Morris 8 parts center can supply a great many spares for the Eight.. He is very helpful and can normally recommend a contact if he cannot help. Tel 0208 573 7008 (UK) Wyvern Auto supplies offer electrical items, Head gaskets and brake parts. Tel 01489 860416 (UK) Vintage Carriages are coach builders and panel suppliers specializing in the Morris 8 but most Morris vehicles can be accommodated. Contact them on 01457 820299. (UK) Mechanical Morris spares can be supplied by P Daintree, (SAE for list), 22 Hawkstone Avenue, Whitefield, Manchester, M45 7PG ......Tel/ Fax 0161 766 4487 (UK) Stainless

Watnall, Notts,NG16 1HD A web site along the same lines as my own but based in Australia and for the "E" model is Morris 8 Restoration. The site has some useful information and links to other sites. well worth a look especially for those of you in Australia. A great site discovered recently is John Blaikies Morris Cars pages. Primarily for the restoration of his 1936 Series II Morris 25/6 he has now added lots of other information and links for other Morris vehicles. Browse over and have a look at Johns Morris Cars site. Another site based in New Zealand is the Morris 8 Tourer Club. The site has lots of useful information and problems are exchanged on the Readers forum. For anyone based in Sweden, Dennis Sockander has built an informative site for anyone with a Morris 8 car. He has an interesting article based on a steering box overhaul. Find it at Morris Register of Sweden. If you have any useful links that may be of use to myself and others please contact me by mailing me on the contact page
